Side-by-side: FTMO 2-Step vs FXIFY One Phase
| FTMO | FXIFY | |
|---|---|---|
| Company | FTMO s.r.o., Prague, Czech Republic — since 2015, entity and registration published | FXIFY SOLUTIONS LIMITED, Unit 1, 74 Back Church Lane, London E1 1LX, UK, company no. 14451720 — markets itself as broker-backed (newsroom names FXPIG; newer blog posts name FXIFY Markets). No explicit founding date is published on its own pages. |
| Market traded | CFDs: forex, indices, commodities, stocks, crypto (a separate FTMO Futures line exists — see the FAQ) | CFDs: forex, gold, indices, oil, exotics and stocks; Crypto variants of One Phase / Instant Funding and a separate FXIFY Futures program also appear in the configurator but are not compared here |
| Entry price | €89 (2-Step, $10K — its smallest account) | No single published entry price — the ladder is configurator-only. Cheapest verified points on FXIFY's own pages: Instant Funding Lite from $19 (for a $2.5K account); Lightning from $59; One Phase $25K at $199 list |
| 100K price | €540 list (€439 promo seen 23 Oct 2026 — promos change, re-check at checkout) | Not published in readable page text — the per-size ladder sits in the JavaScript configurator, so we state this rather than borrow third-party list prices |
| Full price list | Published for every model: 2-Step €89–€1,080; 1-Step €79–€999; Instant from €169 | Not published as page text for any program. Verified price points only: One Phase $25K $199 list / $149.25 with the site's own REWARD25 promo displayed on that page; Lightning from $59; Instant Lite from $19; Instant Standard from $69 |
| Profit targets | 10% then 5% (two phases) | 10% (one phase) |
| Daily loss limit | 5% of initial capital, equity-based, recalculated at midnight CE(S)T | 3% (based on the balance at the end of the previous day, 5 PM EST) |
| Maximum loss | 10% of initial capital | 6% — trailing (see next row) |
| Drawdown type | Static — the floor sits at 90% of initial capital and never moves up | Trailing — trails the closed-balance high-water mark; once +6% profit is reached it locks at the starting balance, and it also locks at the initial balance once a payout is processed |
| Minimum trading days | 4 per phase | 5 |
| Time limit to pass | Unlimited, both phases | Unlimited maximum trading days — but a purchased challenge must be activated within 30 calendar days or access is suspended, and 60 continuous days without a trade is a breach |
| Consistency rule | None on the 2-Step (1-Step: 50%; Instant: 30%) | None on One Phase (Two Phase Classic: 25% funded-stage only; Lightning: 30%; Instant Lite: 20%) |
| Profit split | 80%, up to 90% via the Scaling Plan / Premium Programme | Up to 90% — but the base is contested on FXIFY's own pages: help-center summaries say 80% (upgradable to 90%), while the User Agreement's worked example uses 75% with a paid +15% add-on to 90%. The configurator also offers 100% at a 30-day payout frequency. |
| Fee refund | 2-Step fee refunded in full when the trader requests the first Reward withdrawal | 100% refundable — purchase fee reimbursed with the first payout on request (for 1/2/3 Phase plans) |
| Payout rules | On request from day 14 after the first trade; minimum $20 (bank/Visa/Mastercard) or $50 (crypto); no per-request cap published; review 1–2 business days, then typically sent within 1–2 business days | First payout on demand once the first funded trade is closed, then once per month (every 14 days with the Bi-weekly Payouts add-on); minimum $50; all withdrawals via RISE (same-email verified RISE account + KYC + signed contract). Conflict flagged: program pages state 5 minimum trading days for the first payout, while the homepage says no minimum. |
| News & weekend | Evaluation: no restrictions. Funded Standard: order execution restricted ±2 minutes around selected news; Swing accounts are exempt and may hold past market closes | One / Two / Three Phase: news trading and weekend holding allowed (with a GTC ban on gap trading around major news). Instant Funding is the opposite: no news trading (±5 minutes) and no weekend holding. |
| EAs | Allowed, provided trading is legitimate and replicable in live-market conditions | Yes, on One Phase |
| Leverage | Up to 1:100 (Standard); Swing base 1:30 | Standard accounts 30:1, with a paid Increased Leverage add-on to 50:1 |
| Free trial | Yes — 14 days, real rules (2-Step trial target 5%, 2 minimum days), unlimited repeats, one active at a time | Not found on the firm's pages checked 23 Oct 2026 — stated as such, not filled in |
| Our deal | No partner code exists — use their own promos and the free trial | Link-only 10% via the PropDealHub affiliate link — checkout-verified 20 Oct 2026 ($89.00 → $80.10). PROPDEALHUB typed into FXIFY's discount field returns "Invalid" — never present it as a type-in code. |
FXIFY's closest structural match to FTMO's 2-Step is not One Phase but Two Phase Standard: 10% then 5% targets, 10% trailing drawdown (locking at the initial balance on first payout), 80% upgradable to 90%, and the same 100% fee refund with the first payout. If you want two phases at FXIFY, compare that program — the one-phase verdicts on this page still apply to its drawdown and payout rules. FTMO's other models (1-Step, Instant) are covered in our FTMO review.
The five differences that actually decide it
1. One phase or two — and the target is the same either way
FXIFY's One Phase asks for 10% once, with 5 minimum trading days. FTMO's 2-Step asks for 10% and then 5% again, with 4 minimum days per phase. One phase is faster to a funded account; two phases give the firm a second look at your trading before it risks capital. The target itself does not separate them — and if two phases are what you want, FXIFY's Two Phase Standard mirrors FTMO's 10%-then-5% structure exactly, so the real decision moves to the drawdown and payout rows below.
2. Static 10% vs trailing 6% — FTMO gives you far more room, and room that never shrinks
On a $100K account, FTMO's floor is $90,000, fixed for the life of the account: every dollar of profit only increases your room. FXIFY's ceiling is $6,000 of room, and it trails your closed-balance high-water mark — a winning run that pulls back eats the room it just created, until +6% profit locks the threshold at the starting balance. FTMO's daily limit is also looser (5% vs FXIFY's 3%). For a swing trader risking $100 a trade, that difference is the whole trade plan: FTMO tolerates a bad week; FXIFY's 3% daily limit on a $5K account is $150 a day, so two losing $100 trades in one day end the account.
3. Price transparency: FTMO publishes a ladder, FXIFY publishes price points
FTMO's 2-Step ladder is public end to end (€89 for $10K, €540 for $100K, €1,080 for $200K), so you can compare before you buy. FXIFY's ladder lives in its purchase configurator and does not render as readable page text — the only figures its own pages state are entry points (from $19 Lite, from $59 Lightning, $199 for a $25K One Phase) and its own REWARD25 promo on that One Phase page. Do not trust third-party FXIFY price lists; the honest comparison is FTMO's published ladder against FXIFY's verified points, with the rest confirmed at checkout.
4. Payouts: FTMO on request, FXIFY on demand first — then monthly, via RISE, with its own pages disagreeing
FTMO pays on request from day 14 after the first trade, with a $20 minimum (bank/Visa/Mastercard) or $50 (crypto) and no published per-request cap. FXIFY's first payout is on demand after the first funded trade closes, but then only once a month (every 14 days with a paid add-on), with a $50 minimum and every withdrawal routed through RISE after KYC and a signed contract. And FXIFY's own pages disagree twice: the homepage says there is no minimum trading-day requirement for the first payout while program pages state 5 minimum days, and the homepage says both "no minimum amount" and "$50 across all accounts" in different sections. The $50 figure is the one the FAQs confirm — treat the "no minimum" lines as homepage copy, not rules.
5. Clocks and conflicts: FTMO has no deadline, FXIFY has two — and a split that needs reading twice
FTMO sets no time limit in either phase and publishes no fixed inactivity deadline for CFD accounts — if an account sits unused for a few weeks it contacts you, and you can freeze it for a holiday. FXIFY gives you unlimited maximum trading days but two hard clocks: activate a purchased challenge within 30 days or access is suspended, and 60 continuous days without a trade is a breach. FXIFY's split needs the same care: help-center summaries say 80% upgradable to 90%, the User Agreement's example says 75% with a paid add-on to 90%, and the configurator offers 100% if you accept a 30-day payout frequency. None of that makes FXIFY untrustworthy; it does mean you should confirm your split and payout frequency at checkout, in writing, before you buy.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which is cheaper, FTMO or FXIFY?
There is no honest per-size answer, because FXIFY does not publish its per-size ladder in readable page text — it lives in the purchase configurator. FTMO's ladder is public (2-Step from €89, $100K at €540 list, fee refunded with the first payout). FXIFY's verified points are One Phase $25K at $199 list ($149.25 with its own REWARD25 promo on that page), Lightning from $59 and Instant Lite from $19. Confirm your size at checkout before comparing.
Is PROPDEALHUB a code I type in at FXIFY?
No. FXIFY's PropDealHub deal is link-only: the 10% discount applies automatically through the affiliate link (checkout-verified 20 Oct 2026: $89.00 → $80.10). Typing PROPDEALHUB into FXIFY's discount field returns "Invalid". Never present it as a type-in code.
What is the difference between FTMO's static drawdown and FXIFY's trailing drawdown?
FTMO's 10% maximum loss is a fixed floor at 90% of starting capital — it never rises, so profits only increase your room. FXIFY's 6% maximum trails your closed-balance high-water mark, so a winning run that pulls back shrinks your room — until +6% profit locks the threshold at the starting balance, or a payout locks it at the initial balance.
Does FXIFY really pay 90%?
Up to 90%, with a caveat: FXIFY's help-center summaries say 80% upgradable to 90%, while its User Agreement example uses 75% with a paid +15% add-on to 90%. The configurator also offers 100% if you choose a 30-day payout frequency. Confirm your split and payout frequency at checkout. FTMO pays 80% on the 2-Step, rising to 90% via the Scaling Plan or Premium Programme.
Can I trade news and hold over the weekend at both firms?
On the programs compared here, yes. FTMO allows news and holding freely during both evaluation phases; at the funded stage, Standard accounts face a ±2-minute order-execution restriction around selected news (Swing accounts are exempt). FXIFY allows news trading and weekend holding on One, Two and Three Phase accounts — but not on Instant Funding, where news trading is banned within ±5 minutes and positions flatten on Friday.
What if I want two phases at FXIFY instead of one?
Choose Two Phase Standard: 10% then 5% targets, 4% daily loss, 10% trailing drawdown that locks at the initial balance on the first payout, 80% split upgradable to 90%, and the same 100% fee refund with the first payout. It is FXIFY's structural match to FTMO's 2-Step — the trailing-drawdown and monthly-payout differences on this page still apply.
